Jones Valley is an urbanized valley located in central Huntsville with a variety of businesses, neighborhoods, parks, and communities.
This area was founded by Carl T. Jones in 1939, and has some of the best views in urbanized Huntsville.
There are seven public schools in the Jones Valley area: Jones Valley Elementary, Chaffee Elementary, and Weatherly Heights Elementary for K-5; Whitesburg School for K-8;Huntsville Junior High for grades 6-8; and Grissom High School for grades 9-12. Private schools include Randolph Preparatory School, Whitesburg Christian Academy, and Holy Spirit School.
From hiking on Green Mountain and shopping in Valley Bend to dining at one of its many restaurants, there's a lot to choose from when looking for things to do here.
Jones Valley is a highly concentrated area of homes, businesses, and nature, and covers a lot of the south of Huntsville.
